This 20 studio-hour workshop will introduce you to the amazing world of direct stone carving!
No previous experience is necessary. New and experienced sculptors will find an opportunity to considerably heighten their skill level and insight.

Schedule
Friday, October 12 through Sunday, October 14, 2018
9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily
This schedule will allow us 7 intense hours of studio time each day with an hour break for lunch, yielding our ideal 21 hours of studio time.

Lisa’s home studio located at 108 West Norris Road, Norris, Tennessee
Food is fun!
We will take about an hour break for lunch around noon. Please bring a bag lunch with you and a few snacks if you want. You will have access to a refrigerator and a microwave. There are also a few fast-food restaurants within a couple miles.
WHAT'S AVAILABLE TO YOU
Learn Stone Sculpting skills and techniques. Each participant will personally design and complete a hand-held, intimate sculpture made of soapstone. Instruction will include all steps of the carving process from beginning to end. All tools and materials will be provided. Also, information will be provided to encourage and enable participants to continue to create stone sculptures on their own.
TUITION : $350
Tuition covers the materials fee which includes carving stone, all other carving materials, the use of tools, and the studio space. It does not include meals or lodging.
